Former Chairman of the Board: 

Mitchell “Mitch” Meyers is Vice President at W.B. Kibler Construction Company, (WBK), and provides general construction and construction management services in the fields of commercial, industrial and institutional building. Mitch defines and develops new market opportunities for WBK. He has 30 years of experience in the construction and real estate industries. A lifelong Dallas resident, Mitch is also on the Board of Directors at the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center. He enjoys training, family time, backpacking and playing basketball. He and his wife Janice have two children.

Former Vice Chairman:

Jerry Breaud is a Senior Strategic Alliance Manager with VMware, Inc. the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure. Jerry is responsible for the creation and management of IT Security & Compliance go to market strategies and solutions. With a career that spans 25 years in the IT industry, Jerry has developed multiple sales, marketing and partner programs and managed business development and alliances with global IT organizations. He has used his expertise to develop marketing and strategic plans for charitable organizations. Jerry serves as Director of an Adult Bible Fellowship group at the Heights Church in Richardson, TX. He resides in Plano with his wife Judy and enjoys time with his children, grandchildren and playing golf.

Former Medical Adviser to the Board:

Milton Thomas, M.D. has practiced in the realm of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for over 25 years. His area of specialization is neurologic rehabilitation. He previously served as the Medical Director for Traumatic Brain Injury at the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR) Dallas and currently is Medical Director of Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation at Frisco.

Former Medical Adviser to the Board:

Karen McCain

Karen McCain, PT, DPT, NCS, is a licensed physical therapist, board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist and educator with over seventeen years of clinical experience. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and is former senior physical therapist at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation located in Dallas, TX. In addition to teaching she maintains a clinical practice, and is actively involved in research with subjects with acute stroke. Dr. McCain received her physical therapy degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and her DPT from Regis University.

Former Board Member:

Thomas Paxton is a recovering TBI survivor. His professional portfolio includes, among other things, partner at the law firm of K&L Gates LLP. Thomas’s law practice focused on representing companies and individuals in complex litigation disputes, tax litigation/valuation disputes, including representing doctors and their companies in business, litigation, and bankruptcy disputes. Thomas was named a “Texas Rising Star” in both the Law & Politics and Texas Monthly magazines for the years 2005 through 2009. In addition to serving on the Board of WhenSeanSpeaks, Thomas supports other organizations that assist TBI survivors.
